my husband knows his wood. When he put this together he warned against ever standing on it because it's highly likely that it will collapse. If you dont intend on doing that, then i think it's good.
I love the stools and the teak wood, but it was a real chore to assemble. All went well until putting the top of the stools onto the legs. The holes didn't line up perfectly so I had to shave off a bit of the wood before I could jam the last leg into the hole. Otherwise they are great stools, no imperfections in the wood.
Very good quality!! Does require some assembly but very simple process! Looks great and perfectly matches a kitchen table sold at Home Depot that no longer supplies these stools!!
