The table is easy to put together. The parts fit well. However, look all the parts over for damaged finish. I took all the pieces out of the box except the table top. Everything was there so I proceeded. The top was in the box upside down, just as I wanted it for assembly and the box protected it. I got it all assembled and lifted it out of the box tray and turned it upright. The table top finish was a mess. The box and packing materials were in excellent condition. So the top was packaged in bad condition. The table comes with a form and directions for how to replace parts. I sent mine via email with photos. The company responded promptly and a new top was received in 1 week. When completed with decent parts it is a nice table. The little foam pads they send for the bottoms of the feet are a bit weird. They are the right size and stick well. They are a bit gummy feeling and don't slide on the floor when moving the table. You would be better off not using the ones provided and use felt dots or something like that.
It's a lot darker than pictured but a great end table for the price. Just 8 screws and in 20 minutes they were both assembled. No scratches or marks. If you don't like to follow instructions just remember to put the shelf on first... The legs give it an extra touch. These are made out of real wood and not particle board. I just love it. I bought 2 originally.. One for the couch and one by my recliner but just ordered a 3rd one for the other side of the couch. Just be careful if you are looking for that exact color pictures... These tables are a lot darker. Because I have a mish mash of different types of wood in my living room.. I found that I liked the darker.
Pros:Solid constructionEasy to assembleLooks niceCons:Color was different than picturedPaint chips easyOverall this is a very good purchase for the price. My only complaints are that the color was darker than the pictures so now I have mismatched furniture and that the paint seems to chip very easily. Hard to beat for the price though. Was impressed by it's sturdiness
The end table was the perfect size to fit beside my bed. The top looks quite nice. I was divided between two tables. I went with this one because of the fast shipping. The only downside would be the packaging. The pieces were allowed to make contact with each other so during the normal bumps of shipping they were scratched. I put the worst side towards the bed and wall so it doesn't bother me. I needed to put it into use immediately so I didn't contact the seller.I could give the seller the benefit of the doubt that it was a one time issue. I'd buy it again. It is a nice table that fit the area perfectly and allowed me to utilize the space below with the shelf.
Bought two of these tables as I needed narrow end tables to go on either side of a bed in a bedroom that I was redecorating. Love the color of the wood, the height is perfect for a night table, and the tables are very sturdy. They are solid. No issues with shipping. All pieces and parts were included and it also came with spares on the washers and other small bits. As far as assembly goes, there was one hole on one table that was a bit tricky -- it was lined up OK but drilled at a little bit of an angle. However, with a little effort, we got it. Normally my husband does the assembly on furniture but he was busy so my mom who was in town visiting us and I gave it a go. If I and my mom, two people who are in no way DIY-ers and who don't even know the names of basic tools, can put this together, you can, too.
