Ok I am in love with this storage cabinet, I want to make a whole desk with rows of just this type of storage drawers. That being said, the instructions need to be better. It took me a long time to figure it all out, luckily my husband was good at putting this type of cabinet together and helped speed up the process. It is not impossible but it would have been hour and hours for me as a novice. Once it was starting to come together I understood what was going on and was able to help my husband get it finished quickly. I could not find any videos on You Tube to help me either. So I took the parts and the instructions (before hubby got home) and was working it out slowly-I am not dumb (I have 2 college degrees) but the instructions were very hard to follow-you have to go by the terrible pictures and look for which part is with what picture, it was tough. But like I said once we got it done it was a beautiful piece of furniture and I want more of them. But hubby gets to put the next ones together! Lol. Oh the instructions are folded and in a plastic package but they are there you just have to hunt for them. Good luck! But you will love it once it is together! Two people make it way easier to get through the process!

Here’s the scoop: this is a good little unit-But just know what you’re getting into. This took me 90 min to put together. I can put an ikea billy bookcase together in 20min, so this isn’t user error. Make sure you have some time to spend on it. The instructions are not very detailed, so make sure you’re putting the drawer guides on the right way and using the right screws. For the front of the drawer, the holes are not all equally drilled. Make sure you’re putting your guide screw in at a proper depth. (See photo) after you put them in, check to make sure they are at the right spot, then tighten or loosen as needed. For some reason, all of them are different. If they are not at the proper place, the cams won’t turn properly and you can break them like I did (bottom photo) and the front of your drawer won’t stay on. Which is why some reviewers are using wood glue. It’s a nice sturdy unit, but could use better manufacturing.

So, I will start with this: get a beverage, get comfy, and I suggest a small power drill. You may ask why all these things? This takes a bit to put together. Not because it is terribly hard, it just takes some brain power and time. the directions are a little tricky, but if you look at the details, I have faith in you. But it will take time, there are a LOT of drawers (obviously), a lot of little screws, and pieces. Just know you're gonna take time. I suggest a small drill because like I said, a lot of screws (if you don't, maybe take breaks haha). Otherwise, it's stunning to look at. The drawers are silky smooth, and the depth is more than you would think. I've fit most of my art, paper, and stationery in this bad boy successfully. I foresee it lasting a long time! :)

Do not, I repeat, do not buy this for the sake of your sanity. I have never struggled this much to put together anything, yes the pictures look nice but putting it together is top 5 hardest things I’ve done in life so far. The instructions are not at all descriptive, not to mention some of the parts not even working as they should and the drawers are constantly falling off due to that.

If I could give this NO STARS I would! It took forever to build the instructions are horrible and then one drawer broke as we assembled it. Now, only one to two months later, the whole thing is falling apart. I’d be mad at 20$, but $100!!! Don’t waste your money or time. This product is one of the worst things I have ever bought and it wasn’t cheap either!
