I have been looking for quite a while for sturdy step stools, and these stools are perfect. They were shipped well packaged and individually wrapped. Made of real wood yet light enough to move around with ease. The teak wood finish on these stools is beautiful no regrets even after two months of use. Would recommend.
These stools are lightweight and easy to access and we use them for everything around the house. I would highly recommend them to friends and family. Thank you
So, since we're all home for lockdown, I was finding it hard to interact with the our son at his level (height) for extended periods of time. Sitting on the floor starts to hurt, and sitting in a normal chair is too high, and well, I weigh too much for his chairs! So, I got these. They are the perfect height for his table and can take my weight! Very solid finish with some weight to it, looks very high end. I like the little cut out in the middle to make carrying it around easy - well thought out. Can also easily be used as a step stool to reach high places, as a more attractive alternative to the plastic fold away ones. Multifunctional stool and is good looking too. Bonus, comes with 2! Satisfied and recommend!
The transparent deck wrap is screwed tightly between the deck & top frame.Cut it at the joint or unscrew the top to release the transparent deck wrap [celophane?].The screws were drilled in at slightly irregular spacings &/or angles. Before removing the deck, to reproduce alignment, make a mark on the inside of the top-frame so that the top-side lines up with the top of the printing on the underside of the deck. That way the screw holes will align when you replace the deck on the frame.Or just run a marker from any inside to the underside of the deck. Then if the screws are set so their tips poke out a little from the frame top, and you turn each of them a little at a time going from opposing sides, they will align properly when tightened into the underside of the deck. Sort of like the sequence for tightening lug nuts. One of the stools was chipped and sliding my finger gave me an easily removed splinter. I sanded the offending spots. The scratches to the finish are hardly noticeable on the floor level stool.Despite these flaws, I'm glad I bought them. Useful for sitting at floor-level tasks. The cat uses it to reach the sink.
Nothing beats this price, especially for how sturdy and well made it is. I looked on Ikea and Wayfair and I'm glad I didn't end up splurging cause this does the job just fine. Someone else did note that the plastic wrapping is quite difficult to remove and the only way to remove it cleanly is to dismantle it. I just cut it as closely as I could and it was fine for me.
