I do like and recommend these TV trays. They are sturdy and thankfully none of mine had any defects. This is my second time buying wooden TV trays and I really like that they are nicer than the metal legged little cheap ones. For anyone wondering how to protect the eating surface from damage on a dime I found a great solution: Clean the surface and wipe completely dry then spray the eating surface with a clear coat spray paint. I did this and nothing spilled ruins the wood just sits on top til it’s cleaned up. I did one coat allowed that to dry then did another. It’s great extra protection for kids and clumsy guests. I did this with my first set of wooden tray and they lasted 5 years of military moves. I think these could last a while too with the extra protection.

I love the finish, size, and sturdiness. However, they are a little shaky when cutting steaks. Ensure you use a coaster if you put a cup on the table as it will leave a watermark. The handle is a must for easier transport and folding. It would be nice if the stand had wheels. The price is a little more than the overall value so if you find them on sale you will have an excellent buy.

Exactly what I expected. Gorgeous tv trays....a little hard to open when arrived but that's ok - they were packaged nicely and arrived without a scratch on them. We use them on a daily basis and they are holding up well - very sturdy.

Beautiful, sturdy trays that look just like the picture. I absolutely love them! I received them yesterday (a day earlier than expected - YAY) and set them up last night. Assembling the stand is easy and all you need is an allen wrench which is supplied. One of the trays has a light scratch about a centimeter long (if that) on the front right edge, but it wasn't due to lack of effort because these were packaged very well. Regardless, I am 100% satisfied with these trays AND the service!
