The chairs are ok. The finish could be better. My major problem with these chairs, is attached to the bottom of EVERY chair are warning/safety instructions that have been entirely glued to the full length of one of the slats. Also the paper it slightly wider than the slat so it’s visible from the top of the seat if not removed. I tried to remove it and it came off in pieces. I will have to get adhesive remover to get it off. It’s completely unnecessary. A paper in the box would have been sufficient.
These chairs are even nicer than my husband and I thought they would be! They are quite solidly built and, with an added seat cushion, will stand in perfectly as extra dining table chairs. I have attached a photo of how they look at a standard, 60" long table.
I really like them because they don’t look like a folding chair. And they are sturdy enough for a person of 170lbs maybe a little more. But they are not sturdy enough to slide out from the table while sitting on the chair, because it feels like is going to break apart or you end up folding the legs back to the storage position. But in general they accomplish they purpose, they look good and help you to save some space if you are not using all of them.
I got these four chairs two years ago at Thanksgiving. We use them a LOT because we have weekly family dinners that usually require breaking out the folding chairs. So far they have shown almost no wear and tear, are reasonably comfortable, and, best of all, they are NOT PLASTIC as I loathe to add to the mountains of broken plastic stuff that litter our planet. I consider them a very good purchase, and I’m back here to buy more (you know, Thanksgiving again).

Basic folding wood chair. Hardware is solid enough - not cheap, not top quality, quality of the build satisfactory. It's a slightly smallish and slightly flat-ish feeling chair. Fine for what we use it for which is garden party and barbecue seating in the back yard. They stack nicely, fold easily, and are light enough to carry several at a time. I reserve five stars for real best-in-show and really impressive quality - these are still in the category of economy chairs. But they are the best in that category that I've seen recently.
